Cisco 870 Series 32-MB Flash Memory Module

The MEM870-32F is one of Cisco's flash memory modules for 870 Series routers. It provides 32 MB of flash memory.

Flash memory stores the image of the ROMMON boot code, the Cisco IOS software, and the router configuration file. The router provides 20 MB of onboard flash memory. For Cisco 870 Series routers, an expansion slot allows for an additional 8 MB, 16 MB, or 32 MB of memory. By default, the routers ship with 4 MB in the expansion slot. The maximum total flash memory is 52 MB.
